Staff members of Randolph and Hostetler Funeral Homes are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors.

Kevin E. Hostetler Licensee-in-Charge / Owner, PreNeed Consultant, Life Insurance Agent, Licensed Crematory Operator

Kevin, licensee in charge, owner, and a native of Randolph County, has been serving families in Randolph and Tucker Counties since 1992.  He, his wife, Joan, and their five daughters live at Gilman.  Kevin attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science where he graduated at the top of his class.

Joan Hostetler Secretary/Treasurer

Joan, a native of Tucker County, was married to Kevin October 10, 1992.  Joan had worked at Mountain Valley Bank for 26 1/2 years, before joining Kevin at Randolph and Hostetler Funeral Homes on January 14, 2022.  She has been serving in the accounting department since she and Kevin purchased the funeral homes, but now has taken on more day to day operations.

Jay Kissel Apprentice Funeral Director/Embalmer, Licensed Crematory Operator, PreNeed Consultant

Jay joined the funeral home staff in May of 2011 and lives in Beverly. He is an alumnus of Southern New Hampshire University, obtaining his Associates Degree with Highest Honors. He then became a 2024 graduate with Honors of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Jay currently serves as an Apprentice Funeral Director/Embalmer, a Licensed Crematory Operator, and a PreNeed Consultant.

Donnie joined our staff in 2020.  He helps with day to day office operations and veteran's programs.  He and his wife, Tiffanie, live in Valley Bend.

Lonnie Sharp joined our staff in 2021.  He and his wife, Nancy, work together in various roles and help with maintenance and custodial work.

Josh works visitations, helps with large custodial needs, and aids in a variety of other aspects of the funeral home.  He began his work with the funeral home in 2017.
